Closed Hydraulic and Mechanical Test Loop
Purpose
Evaluate pumpability, pressure loss, settling, bridging, leakage, shutdown, bypass, and purge without fire.
Operating concept
A contained reservoir, interchangeable pump/mixer sections, instrumented hose and fittings, test outlet return, and guarded fault- insertion points form a recirculating loop.

Operating sequence
run water baseline → introduce characterized material → step through bounded flow conditions → observe settling/clogging → trigger planned stop/failover → purge → disassemble under zero energy and inspect

sensor failure must not defeat mechanical protection; preserve raw data; separate research controls from deployment authority
