Clean-Water Purge and Flush Skid
Purpose
Provide a dedicated, measured clean-water source to clear feeders, mixers, pumps, hoses, and outlets after each test or fault.
Operating concept
A clean reservoir, pump, selectable connection manifold, and captured return deliver a defined flush sequence to isolated segments without sending washwater to the environment.
Key assemblies
clean-water tank; flush pump; segment selector; backflow prevention; flow/volume meter; return/capture hose; washwater tank; conductivity/turbidity observation
Operating sequence
stop mineral feed → isolate process source → connect selected segment → flush at approved condition → capture return → verify visual/measurement endpoint → label washwater for disposition
Instrumentation
process temperature or recovery level; flow; containment status; stop condition
Safeguards
contained research only where stated; prevent uncontrolled discharge; define waste and recovery route
Failure modes and mitigations
cross-contamination; uncontained washwater; overpressure; incomplete dead-leg cleaning; slip hazard
Variants
portable flush cart; trailer skid; integrated station tank; hot-water research option after compatibility review; multi-segment automated flush
Validation gates
contained bench trial; thermal/material compatibility; recovery efficiency; environmental disposition review
Claim boundary
CLAIM BOUNDARY: No certified design, validated recipe, performance guarantee, regulatory approval, or authorization for uncontrolled-fire use is represented.
Unverified concept for qualified research. Not certified equipment, not a validated formula, not fabrication instructions, and not authorization for active-fire use. Individual conventional components are not claimed as separately invented.
