Frozen Mineral-Water Article Former and Contained Feeder
Purpose
Create reproducible frozen or partially frozen mineral-water test articles for contained calorimetry or fixture-based research only.
Operating concept
A mold, controlled freezing chamber, instrumented storage tray, and guarded fixture transfer test articles into a stationary containment vessel—never a launcher, aerial system, or occupied-area applicator.
Key assemblies
measured molds; freezing chamber; core/surface temperature probes; weigh station; insulated tray; guarded transfer fixture; contained test vessel; meltwater recovery
Operating sequence
prepare documented mixture → fill identical molds → freeze under recorded cycle → measure mass/temperature → transfer by guarded fixture → test only in contained vessel → recover melt/residue
Instrumentation
process temperature or recovery level; flow; containment status; stop condition
Safeguards
contained research only where stated; prevent uncontrolled discharge; define waste and recovery route
Failure modes and mitigations
pressure from freezing; cold-contact injury; slip/meltwater; projectile misuse; nonuniform frozen core
Variants
cube mold; pellet mold; layered article; partially frozen slush cartridge; instrumented single-article calorimetry
Validation gates
contained bench trial; thermal/material compatibility; recovery efficiency; environmental disposition review
Claim boundary
CLAIM BOUNDARY: No certified design, validated recipe, performance guarantee, regulatory approval, or authorization for uncontrolled-fire use is represented.
Unverified concept for qualified research. Not certified equipment, not a validated formula, not fabrication instructions, and not authorization for active-fire use. Individual conventional components are not claimed as separately invented.
