Purpose

Dose a contained slurry side stream in laboratory or small pilot tests while keeping the moving mechanism outside the wetted path.

Operating concept

Rollers compress replaceable tubing, moving discrete volumes; the tube becomes the primary wear and containment component and is inspected/replaced by protocol.

Key assemblies

peristaltic pump head; replaceable abrasion-rated tube; variable- speed drive; tube rupture tray; pressure limit; inlet agitator; check/sample valves; guard

Operating sequence

select compatible tube → prime with water → calibrate volume per revolution → dose test slurry → monitor pressure and leak tray → stop and isolate → replace/flush tube

Instrumentation

intake/discharge pressure; flow; vibration or motor load; bypass state

Safeguards

pressure relief; rated hose/couplings; isolation and depressurization; wear inspection points

Failure modes and mitigations

tube rupture; pulsation; limited particle size; overpressure; unnoticed wear

Variants

single-channel; multi-channel dosing; portable bench unit; remote enclosed feeder

Validation gates

closed-loop pressure test; leak/coupling review; abrasion trial; fail- safe bypass and purge

Claim boundary

CLAIM BOUNDARY: No certified design, validated recipe, performance guarantee, regulatory approval, or authorization for uncontrolled-fire use is represented.

Unverified concept for qualified research. Not certified equipment, not a validated formula, not fabrication instructions, and not authorization for active-fire use. Individual conventional components are not claimed as separately invented.
