Purpose

Support authorized study near water or wet sediment while prioritizing containment and avoiding unapproved discharge or ecological disturbance.

Operating concept

A stable barge, boat, or floating dock carries a low-disturbance intake, closed sample/conditioning loop, clean-water system, and full return/recovery path.

Key assemblies

stability-rated floating platform; screened low-disturbance intake; closed sample receiver; conditioner; contained test loop; spill barriers; recovery tank; environmental monitoring

Operating sequence

obtain environmental and navigation authorization → stabilize platform → sample wet source → operate closed loop → retain all test media → monitor water quality → return to shore for disposition

Instrumentation

process temperature or recovery level; flow; containment status; stop condition

Safeguards

contained research only where stated; prevent uncontrolled discharge; define waste and recovery route

Failure modes and mitigations

capsize/stability; aquatic impact; uncontrolled release; organism transport; corrosion/electrical exposure

Variants

shore pontoon; research barge; small workboat skid; floating dock station; fully simulated tank-based wetland rig

Validation gates

contained bench trial; thermal/material compatibility; recovery efficiency; environmental disposition review

Claim boundary

CLAIM BOUNDARY: No certified design, validated recipe, performance guarantee, regulatory approval, or authorization for uncontrolled-fire use is represented.

Unverified concept for qualified research. Not certified equipment, not a validated formula, not fabrication instructions, and not authorization for active-fire use. Individual conventional components are not claimed as separately invented.
