Batch Paddle-Mixer Tank

Meter materialAdd waterMix / conditionTest sampleSCHEMATIC PROCESS ORDER — NOT TO SCALEWater-only comparison and failover retained throughout.

Purpose

Prepare a contained, fully documented test batch before pumping, allowing direct sampling and adjustment under controlled conditions.

Operating concept

Water enters a baffled tank first; conditioned mineral feed is introduced gradually while low-speed paddles or sweep agitators suspend solids without requiring conventional fire-pump ingestion.

Key assemblies

baffled tank; guarded paddle/sweep agitator; water inlet and meter; solids inlet; load cells or level measurement; sample port; bottom drain; recirculation/purge manifold

Operating sequence

add measured water → start guarded agitation → meter solids gradually → mix for defined interval → sample and record → transfer through approved slurry path → drain, recover, and wash

Instrumentation

water flow; mineral feed rate; ratio proxy; mixed-stream pressure

Safeguards

preserve water-only bypass; prevent dry running; provide sample, drain, and clean-water purge points

Failure modes and mitigations

agitator entanglement; tank overflow; settling during hold; nonuniform batch; confined-space/service hazard

Variants

small tote mixer; trailer tank; vertical sweep tank; horizontal paddle tank; dual-tank alternating batch system

Validation gates

water-only baseline; ratio repeatability; settling/bridging trial; complete purge demonstration

Claim boundary

CLAIM BOUNDARY: No certified design, validated recipe, performance guarantee, regulatory approval, or authorization for uncontrolled-fire use is represented.

Unverified concept for qualified research. Not certified equipment, not a validated formula, not fabrication instructions, and not authorization for active-fire use. Individual conventional components are not claimed as separately invented.
