Wet-Sediment Suction and Dredge Intake
Purpose
Acquire already-wet sediment or muddy water for characterization and bounded testing without assuming that the source is environmentally or mechanically suitable.
Operating concept
A low-disturbance screened suction head draws a water-sediment stream to a settling/measurement receiver; oversize and foreign matter are excluded before any research mixing loop.

Operating sequence
obtain site/environmental authorization → sample source → lower screened head → draw low-disturbance stream → trap debris → measure and retain batch → route only approved test fraction onward
