Modular Interface and Quick-Connect Architecture
Purpose
Define a research-only mechanical and data interface family so acquisition, conditioning, mixing, pump, delivery, purge, and sensor modules can be changed without redesigning the entire platform.
Operating concept
Keyed mechanical connections, size-coded hoses, physically incompatible clean-water/raw-material ports, module IDs, and a shared data/power handshake reduce cross-connection and configuration error.

Operating sequence
classify each module interface → prevent incompatible connection physically → scan/identify modules → verify configuration → run water-only integrity check → enable test → cap/drain and record removal

calibration state; time-synchronized data; mode and alarm history; operator acknowledgment
Safeguards
sensor failure must not defeat mechanical protection; preserve raw data; separate research controls from deployment authority
