Purpose

Define a research-only mechanical and data interface family so acquisition, conditioning, mixing, pump, delivery, purge, and sensor modules can be changed without redesigning the entire platform.

Operating concept

Keyed mechanical connections, size-coded hoses, physically incompatible clean-water/raw-material ports, module IDs, and a shared data/power handshake reduce cross-connection and configuration error.

Key assemblies

keyed mechanical flanges/couplings; color/shape coding; clean-water segregation; module identification; pressure/flow class labels; data connector; interlock loop; blanking and drain caps

Operating sequence

classify each module interface → prevent incompatible connection physically → scan/identify modules → verify configuration → run water-only integrity check → enable test → cap/drain and record removal

Instrumentation

calibration state; time-synchronized data; mode and alarm history; operator acknowledgment

Safeguards

sensor failure must not defeat mechanical protection; preserve raw data; separate research controls from deployment authority

Failure modes and mitigations

false compatibility; wrong pressure class; cross-connection; connector fouling; software accepting unsafe combination

Variants

bench interface set; trailer module rack; large-bore skid standard; sensor-spool standard; future professional interface after qualification

Validation gates

calibration check; fault-injection test; data-integrity review; qualified protocol approval

Claim boundary

CLAIM BOUNDARY: No certified design, validated recipe, performance guarantee, regulatory approval, or authorization for uncontrolled-fire use is represented.

Unverified concept for qualified research. Not certified equipment, not a validated formula, not fabrication instructions, and not authorization for active-fire use. Individual conventional components are not claimed as separately invented.
