Vibrating, Trommel, and Multi-Deck Classifier
Purpose
Separate candidate mineral feed into defined particle bands that can be tested for pumpability, coating behavior, and environmental burden.
Operating concept
A vibrating deck, rotary trommel, or wet screen routes undersize, target fraction, and oversize to separate containers with retained samples.
Key assemblies
one or more screen decks; controlled feed distributor; drive and isolation mounts; wetting sprays if used; fraction chutes; sample ports; deck-cleaning system; guards
Operating sequence
select target screen set → meter feed → separate fractions → sample each fraction → measure yield → route target fraction → contain and label rejects
Instrumentation
oversize/reject indication; sample point; conditioned-output rate
Safeguards
contain dust and splash; isolate stored energy; retain representative material sample
Failure modes and mitigations
screen blinding; vibration exposure; dust/splash; misrouted fractions; unbalanced rotating mass
Variants
dry vibratory; wet vibratory; rotary trommel; multi-deck laboratory shaker; mobile fold-out classifier
Validation gates
particle-distribution check; foreign-object challenge; dust/splash review; cleanout verification
Claim boundary
CLAIM BOUNDARY: No certified design, validated recipe, performance guarantee, regulatory approval, or authorization for uncontrolled-fire use is represented.
Unverified concept for qualified research. Not certified equipment, not a validated formula, not fabrication instructions, and not authorization for active-fire use. Individual conventional components are not claimed as separately invented.
